Membership Renewal Process

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL PROCESS

To renew your membership please login using your email address and password.  If this is your first time accessing our new website you will be required to create a new password.  You can create a new password quickly by clicking on "forgot password" which is located below the login field on the left side of the page (about halfway down).

Once you have "logged in" with your email address and password you will see a new option near the "Logout" button that reads "View Profile".  Please click on "view profile" to access your account area.  

Once you are in your account area the process is quite simple.  Go the membership area of the page and you will see a button that reads "RENEW UNTIL JANUARY 2015".  Click on this button and it will take you to a screen to confirm your current membership level (BICA only or BICA/MLA Joint Membership).  You can choose to keep your membership as is or upgrade/downgrade to the other membership level.  Membership prices are the same as last year (BICA Membership Only - $35 and BICA/MLA Joint Membership - $95)

Once you have chosen your membership level you will be requested to confirm all of your personal information on the form.  Please ensure everything is up to date on this form and confirm.  

You will have the option to pay NOW via PayPal (using your PayPal Account, Visa, Mastercard or American Express Card). 

If you are not ready to make payment you will have the opportunity to process your payment at a later date.  Your membership application will be accepted and marked payment pending in this case.  You are also welcome to mail a cheque if you are not comfortable making online payments.  Cheques should be made payable to "Browning Island Cottagers' Association".

    Thank you for these instructions. I think they are very helpful. I would like to add one or two additional comments to clarify several issues that some members are noting.

    1. Members do not need a PAY PAL Account. BICA has the PAY PAL Account. You are merely using your credit card to pay BICA by sending monies to BICA's PAY PAL Acct.

    2. If you complete the application online, we have all the necessary information we need, and you can then choose to then send your cheque by mail if this is your preference.

    3. If you choose to pay online, please remember to click on the Pay button at the end of the credit card process to complete the payment. Otherwise you will think you have paid, but the payment will not go through.

    Thanks Michael for setting up this online process. I can't begin to tell you how much time and effort it is saving our Membership Chair.
