About the MLA

The Muskoka Lakes Association was formed in 1894 and is Canada's oldest cottage association.

The MLA's mission is to promote the responsible use, enjoyment and conservation of the unique Muskoka environment. Our vision is that, through the achievement of our mission, present and future generations will benefit from our efforts.

The Muskoka Lakes Association is proud to offer a bursary to help a well deserving graduate from Bracebridge-Muskoka Lakes Secondary School, Gravenhurst High School or St. Dominic Catholic Secondary School, pursue a post-secondary school education.

An interesting way to look at what we have done in the past year.

Each year the Muskoka Lakes Association publishes a yearbook for the exclusive use of it's more than 2500 members, their extended families and guests.  Part coffee table book, complete with feature stories, part member directory - the MLA yearbook is an important part of the association's rich history.
